Tasting notes: Suntory whisky Toki is silky with a subtle sweet and spicy finish. Raise the glass to your nose and appreciate the fresh, herbal aromas of basil and green apple with undertones of honey. Each sip brings a mix of mouth-watering grapefruit and green grapes along with notes of peppermint and thyme. Afterwards, flavors of vanilla, oak, white pepper and ginger linger on the tongue. Serving Suggestion: Extraordinarily versatile, Suntory Toki whisky can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or mixed into a creative cocktail. Try it in a highball—a midcentury Japanese tradition which is making a comeback. Start by filling your glass to the brim with ice. Add a measure of Toki whisky, stirring to chill. Trickle three measures of chilled sparkling water down the side of the glass to avoid melting the ice or bursting the bubbles. Simple and stylish.
